The AHN myLab® hematocrit centrifuge has an intuitive user control panel that features an easy-to-read digital display and soft-touch buttons. Centered neatly at the top of the control panel, the bright, 7 segment display provides allows for easy setting and adjustment of custom programs. The clearly labelled soft-touch buttons below the display make quick work of kicking the myLab® hematocrit centrifuge into action and adjusting key operating parameters. Bright LED lights provide a visual cue for indicating the setting that is being adjusted.

A high-tech microprocessor serves as the brains of the AHN myLab® hematocrit centrifuge, allowing it to operate with high precision and dependable accuracy. Unlike in analog systems, spin times are adjusted with exceptional precision thanks to the high-tech microprocessor. The microprocessor also allows for variable speed control (500 – 12.000 RPM) with a high degree of accuracy at each speed setting. The AHN myLab® hematocrit centrifuge also saves the last run settings that minimize set-up times for a plug-and-play user experience.

At the core of the myLab® hematocrit centrifuge 12000 RPM is a power-packed brushless DC motor that is designed to offer the best-in-class centrifugation experience. With several months of dedicated fine-tuning by some of the best engineering talent, this excellent motor provides exceptional speed (500 – 12 000 RPM) and powerful centrifugal force (14119 g). With no brushes to change, the motor is maintenance-free, allowing you to spin thousands of blood samples over the extended lifespan of the myLab® hematocrit centrifuge 12000 rpm.

A high-capacity rotor is supplied with the myLab® hematocrit centrifuge, accommodating multiple 45 / 75 mm capillary tubes. At full capacity, the rotor of the myLab® hematocrit centrifuge can hold 24 capillary tubes with blood samples ready for hematocrit testing. This allows faster sample processing and less downtime for busy diagnostic laboratories receiving large sample volumes each day. The rotor also features a screw-on lid that perfectly complements the rotor design and minimizes contamination.

The myLab® hematocrit centrifuge 12000 RPM is packed with safety features that are designed to always keep the lab an injury-free zone. An automatic imbalance detection feature prevents the centrifuge from running with an unbalanced load. Once the myLab® hematocrit centrifuge is running, a lid-lock safety mechanism prevents access to the rotor until the motor has completely stopped spinning. The rotor is fitted with a secure lid that reduces the chances of accidental spillage of blood samples or cross-contamination. The compact, lightweight design also reduces back injuries.
