We are there to shape the future!

AHN Biotechnologie GmbH | We are there to shape the future!

As AHN Biotechnologie GmbH we felt a huge burden of responsibility to contribute to the entrepreneurial development of our home region Thuringia. This ambition is now a major step closer thanks to the successful election of our General Manager Torsten Buchwald to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) Erfurt. We are proud to be an active player in this respectful organisation, which through the troubled waters of the history sustained its meaningful impact on our region.

Thank You to all companies who have voted for us!

As a service provider for the regional economy, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) Erfurt represents the interests of around 63,300 companies in Northern and Central Thuringia (as of June 30, 2019). The IHK Erfurt advocates the interests of companies vis-à-vis politics and administration: for business-friendly framework conditions, for an efficient infrastructure, moderate tax rates, more entrepreneurial freedom and less bureaucracy.

In addition, the IHK is committed as a service-oriented service provider for its member companies. It promotes the establishment of companies, the dual training, supports entry into new markets, provides information on legal issues and current economic policy issues.

The IHK Erfurt is based in the Thuringian state capital. It also maintains ten Regional Service Centers (RSC) in Mühlhausen, Gotha, Eisenach, Bad Salzungen, Nordhausen, Heiligenstadt, Artern, Weimar, Sömmerda and Apolda.
